Probably you have accidentally turned on the Snap Grid. You can turn it back off using one of these methods:

  1. Press the 'G' key, or
  2. Choose Options/Snap Grid from the menu, or
  3. Press 'Q' to open the Options panel. Click on the 'Grid' tab, uncheck the 'Snap Grid' checkbox, and click 'OK.

Another possibility is that you have turned on Running Snaps mode. If this is the case, you should see 'RS' in one of the fields on the right end of the status bar at the bottom of the DesignCAD window. To turn off Running Snaps, use one of these methods:

  1. Click on the Running Snaps icon  in the Snap Toolbox, or
  2. Choose Options/Running Snap Settings from the menu. Uncheck the box labeled 'Running Snaps On', then click 'OK'.
