NOTE: TurboCAD can be installed & use on maximum 2 machines with the same license. But if you want to remove license on any machine then you have to perform following steps to deactivate the license. After completely removing TurboCAD on that machine, you can download/install TurboCAD on new system by using CD or Digital download.
For Windows Vista/7/8/10
A clean install involves removing TurboCAD, then deleting some files and folder that get left behind, then reinstalling the latest build of TurboCAD. This is not a 100% clean install, as we do not mess with the registry or delete the documents folder.
- Using the programs and features control panel remove all versions of TurboCAD and symbols installs.
- Delete all of these folders.
C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\IMSIDesign\TurboCAD-??-??<version that you need to reinstall>
"AppData" may be hidden. To show the hidden files and folders go to your "Folder Options" in Control Panel.
C:\Program Files\IMSIDesign
- Download the full version of TurboCAD ??
EXAMPLE/download.imsisoft.com/turbocad/TurboCAD-??-??.exe
- Install TurboCAD from the downloaded installer using your original serial number.
Clean Install For Windows XP
Follow the steps below:
- Using add or remove programs remove all versions of TurboCAD and symbols installs.
- Delete all of these folders.
C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Application Data\IMSIDesign\TurboCAD-??-??
<version that you need to re-install>
C:\Program Files\IMSIDesign
- Download the full version of TurboCAD ??
EXAMPLE//download.imsisoft.com/turbocad/TurboCAD-??-??.exe
- Install TurboCAD from the downloaded installer.
