It is often asked that how one can view both, the rendered objects and nonrenderable objects in one view. So here are the simple steps you need to follow to make this happen: 

1) Go to View menu > Camera > Camera Properties: 

                                                    You can see Camera Properties window will open up (see image below). 

2) Now, whatever render more you want to enable, select it. 

3) On the right side, check mark Nonrenderable objects. This allows you to keep the simple 2D objects which are non-renderable visible even in the render mode.
