Turn off point select mode and select plenty stuff.

Zoom in tight on an entity whose end point you want to move and so that where you want to move it to is also visible.

Activate the closed down drawing (hold Ctrl and repeatedly press tab to cycle through the windows) and activate point select mode (aka' ps mode').

Re-activate the first window. The points will be highlighted but not visible.

Put the cursor over the endpoint to move, the cursor will change to the bulls eye, signifying that that point will be picked up if you click.

Click the point then switch back to the other drawing and turn point select mode off, then switch back to the first drawing. PS Mode will be deactivated but you will still be able to complete the moving of the point. !! If you did not deactivate point select mode you will have to wait for all the points, seen and unseen, to redraw themselves before control of dcad is returned to you.

<<Note that this trick won't work if intending to highlight more than one point to move, because once you highlight any of the points they will all redraw>>
